In the ...hi depends on which part of Mumbai u are?
In the suburbs you go to Fab India (if you are from Delhi, you don't want that:) else also khadi (for their numbers and local addresses call 2 88888888). There is a fair happening in Bandra reclamation grounds -- it was on last sunday def. U have to check that out though -- it is the Pragati crafts fair -- and a great place to browse all handloom/Indian crafts things at one place. Off Malad, in Orbit mall, you have FabIndia, you have the Cottage Industries units --nice, though I find the latter a bit expensive. On ground floor there is the Earth something shop (off the exit, near Hobby Ideas store) where you get some nice handicrafts -- including gemstone statuettes -- very nice, very Indian and little trinkets
the best place to browse for everything is of course Colaba Causeway -- you get EVERYTHING there, including non-Indian stuff like Mcdonalds:) Happy shopping:)YOGA IN EVERYTHING https://www.blogger.com/profile/05581453067799497419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2789885294765096258.post-6419288635799000982009-05-28T23:17:20.666-07:002009-05-28T23:17:20.666-07:00i am looking for a place where i can find good han...i am looking for a place where i can find good handloom stuffs........ textiles and also few handicrafts stuff.... preferably a govt affiliated.you seem to know mumbai n its surrounding so well can you help?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
